We need to secure the border, and slow the fentanyl pipeline that runs from China to Mexico and into the United States. This highly potent drug is ruining the lives of our neighbors and their families. Simultaneously, we also need to improve the funding for inpatient substance abuse treatment and community health centers to those dealing with addiction the help they need.

Increased treatment capacity of our inpatient substance abuse centers and our community health centers to increase treatment of those who are currently fighting addiction.

We also need to increase our support of effective programs that combat sex and human trafficking. Allan supports the creation of the National Center of Human Trafficking within the US Department of Homeland Security, an effort that has bipartisan support.
